Plot 20
We are proud to be associated with the Redacre Growing Project who are creating growing spaces for both community groups and the good folk of Mytholmroyd and surrounds. These are half the size of traditional allotment plots and the project is run as a limited company with plotholders as members / shareholders who pay £54 pa. We attended the AGM on the 28.2.12 which saw the directorial team elected for the coming year. This also gave some background to the tremendous amount of work that has gone in to getting the project established.
Plot 20 is the Food Hub domain and we welcome (potential) members to come along and experience the vitality and variety of growing techniques on display at the site. We aim to be a regular presence at the site and community days which have so far been productive and good fun. Children are welcome and a play space is taking shape, refreshments are served by Francis Minto and friends.
